Rory shut up at the scoff and gave a little chuckle instead before going to head for the booth, reaching up to rub at her forehead as she let out a slow breath. Maybe she would let Elliot take Dallas for a few.
Dallas gave an unhappy whimper and whine as soon as he noticed Rory walking away, lip wobbling. |

"You're okay, buddy. You're okay." Elliot crooned, kissing at the top of Dally's head.
Elliot, Myra, and Dally made their way to the pumpkin patch and proceeded through a balloon arch at the entryway.
"You're really good with him." Myra observed, smiling as she reached up to place a gentle touch at Dally's shoulder as well. "It's...not a problem that I'm here, is it? I mean, I know this was so I could meet him, but Rory seems uncomfortable. Is it too soon or something?" She asked.
Elliot bit at his lip and gave a small shrug.
"I'm not really sure...but I wanted you to meet him. He's important to me, you're important to me. I wanted this." He said, though, part of him worried about Rory and the situation a little as well. |

Focus on Dallas, Rory. You're fine. It's just a shit day. Focus on Dallas and you can go do whatever, just you two, soon. You'll move on soon.
Rory let out a slow breath, reaching up to rub at her sore eyes, careful of her make up before peering at the little things on the booth. She paid for a small stuffed animal for Dallas before going to head back to meet the others.
Dallas moved his head when he felt the touch to peer over at Myra, watching her slightly. |

"Dallyyy, are you being shy?" Rory called from behind them. Dallas picked up his head and cooed loudly, making grabby hands for his mother. |

"Well that's good, he needs plenty of friends." Rory said, taking Dallas and kissing at his cheeks. "I got you a new little buddy, baby boy." she murmured quietly to him, giving him the little turkey stuffy she had bought him at the booth.
Dallas cooed and leaned his head on her, going to gnaw on the wing of the toy. |
