| "Yeah, I'll get it." Myra said, stepping forward to grab the blanket. When she retrieved it, she zipped up the bag and stepped around to the Rory's front and crooned at Dallas as she offered it out to him. "Hey, lil' stud, I have this for you. It's lots better." She chirped. |

Rory smiled a bit, grateful that Myra seemed to be so sweet to Dallas already. "Looks pretty good to me, Dally. Thanks, Myra."
Dallas whined but held out his hand to take it, wanting something to gum at. |

It had been about a week and a half since Rory and Elliot's new littlest, Ava, had made an appearance to the world. Ever since, it'd been a lot of (happy) chaos, what with a newborn wailing or needing attention every couple of hours or less and a toddler demanding more attention due to not 'getting as much' he felt because of the new little one.
But today had been a really good day so far, or so Rory felt it had been. The kids were being very well behaved and her and Elliot were able to go out with them as a, well, family and get some shopping done and even get some little things here and there for themselves and the kids from the strip mall in town.
Which lead them to the little familiar cafe upon Dallas' whine of being thirsty and Rory and Elliot feeling pretty hungry themselves. "Ay, Elliot, take Ava? I need to use the restroom." Rory asked after sitting down at a table with them all. |

| "'Course. Can you grab a couple of extra creamers when you come back? This coffee is bitter as all get out." Elliot said, reaching out to take Ava from Rory. He lightly bounced the infant when she gave a slight fuss at the hand off. She was quickly soothed. |

A woman, who picked up on what was said, grabbed some creamers from her table and went to start over. |

| "Have you had it today, Miss Ava?" Elliot crooned to her as she shifted in his arms and let out a little grunt and whine. His smile for her faltered a bit, turning into a more curious expression, when he happened to glance up, noticing someone's approach. |

The woman laughed a little. "Oh, he's adorable. I'm Delilah, by the way." she held out a hand. |
