Dixie waved before leaning her head against Dana, wanting to sleep more. |

"I will, I will." Dixon assured before gathering a few odds and ends in the room and heading out of the room as well.
Just as the doctor had said, Dixon went and grabbed Declan's medicine and got him all checked out. He made sure to bundle the still-anxious baby up before heading out to his car to head home.
He arrived back at the house not too long after Dana and Dixie, or so he assumed, and parked right behind her car before heading in with Declan.
"Maybe if we ask nicely, Dana will sit down and feed you, hmm, baby boy? You like that, huh?" Dixon crooned as he carried Declan into the house, snuggling him close. |

| Dana was sitting on the sofa, talking to Harper while Dixie played with her cousins near by. She glanced when she heard the door, looking hopeful that it was Dixon and Declan. |

Dixon shuffled his feet on the rug in the entryway, cleaning off hte bottoms of his shoes before heading into the living room.
"We're home." He said, sounding a bit tired still.
Although VERY relieved. |

| "He's a bit fussy still. We can probably give him some medicine and, I mean...if you don't mind, we can try feeding him a bit, then lay him down." Dixon said, going to hand over Declan as Dana looked just as eager as any mother would about her own baby. |

Dana went to take Declan, kissing at his cheek. "Are you hungry, lil man?" she crooned, looking down at him.
Dixie glanced over, frowning as she watched and went to go over, holding up her arms. "Up! Hungry toos!" |

Declan let out a croaky little coo and puckered his lips, smacking them lightly.
Meanwhlie, Dixon gave a sigh and looked down at Dixie, going to scoop her up.
"Baby girl...I'm awfully tired, so please don't be difficult, hmm? I'll get you something to eat, what would you like?" He asked, clearly worn out from the day. |

Dixie put her hands back down at the sigh, frowning upsettedly. Everyone was fawning over her brother, so why did Dixon seem so reluctant? (To her it seemed that way, at least.)
Dana shh'd Declan. "I'm gonna head up to your room so I can feed him." she told Dixon. |

| "What do you want to eat, baby girl? What can I make for you? Dad's hungry too...do you want to share some soup Auntie Harper made?" Dixon asked as he picked her up and snuggled her close. "Or I can make you some grilled cheese? What would you like, my little love?" Dixon tried, knowing Dixie was still having a very difficult time given everything. |
