Dixon's own smile faltered a bit as he looked to Darcy's more...forced one. However, he didn't want to call attention to it, instead, he put himself behind Darcy's chair and started wheeling him towards the front steps of the school.
"How were things today?" He asked, looking down at Darcy. |

Dixon shrugged, coming up on the steps. He turned them around, allowing him to go down while easing Darcy's wheelchair down backwards. |

| "Griffith will probably get called about that, you know?" Darcy held back occasional flinches at pain as the wheelchair jolted from the steps a little. He had sharp twinges in his back which was supposed to be better than nothing but it still sucked. |

Dixon said, trying to be substantially more careful as he helped Darcy move down the stairs, upon reaching the bottom, he turned them around and leaned on the back of the wheelchair, pausing. "So..you're hurtin' and you haven't even eaten?" He asked, pursing his lips. He felt a little bit guilty. Maybe if he hadn't spent lunch in detention, he could have found Darcy, brought him something to eat (so he COULD take his medication), maybe even helped him study. |

But he could try and turn the day around.
"I know you're kind of havin' a rough day, so...I mean...do you wanna go to Pete's Deli, get some sammies and go to the arcade? I mean...we could go to the physical therapist any day, right? Tomorrow, next week, whenever." Dixon reasoned. |
