| "Consider me warned!" Dixon grinned as earned his consent. He quickly stooped down and dug into his bag, retrieving his baseball mitt, along with a spare. He tossed the spare to Darcy. "That one's more broken in, so it should work perfect." He said, pulling his on before gesturing for Darcy to follow suit. |

| Darcy put on the glove, having flashbacks of his sister doing this same thing. This was either going to be amusing or not go well at all. "You're really into baseball, huh?" he laughed some. |

| "Yeah, me and both of my brothers all played little league, my oldest brother even played in high school and probably could have gotten a scholarship for it, but," Dixon paused, thinking back to WHY Lawson had quit school, the memory bitter. He made a slight face, opting to diverge from THAT topic. "Well, he just decided school wasn't for him in the end so, so much for that, right?" |

"I know you've probably heard it before, but all you have to do is keep your eye on the ball. I'll toss a few to you underhand, keep it slow, kay?" |
