Declan adjusted as Dana did, laying on his back with his head resting gently against her stomach. He fidgeted with his hands some before speaking up.
"Daddy...what do I call the lady? She's not...my mom, not really." He asked quietly.
Dixon went quiet, not sure how to answer. |

Declan made a little noise and lightly nodded before wiggling to roll over on his stomach instead.
"Daddy, you came here before, right? Where was your favorite place?" He asked, earning a little smile from Dixon.
"I really liked going to see the sea cliffs. Those were beautiful." He said. |

"Somehow I knew you'd end up looking for a theater." Dixon chuckled, turning when he heard little footfalls rushing into the kitchen.
"That Momma? Deccy?" Daisy chirped as she rushed towards her father.
"Mm, it's Momma and Deccy." Dixon smiled, crouching down with the phone. He held it away from his ear so Daisy could speak into it.
"Momma, Deccy, I miss you!" She hollered into the mic. |
