Dana unlocked the hotel door and headed in with Declan, letting out a relieved breath. She was exhausted and looking forward to calling home. She headed in with Declan, shutting and locking the door behind them and went to set down their luggage. "Lets call Dad, hm?" |

| "Please please. I miss him." Declan said, letting out a heavy sigh of relief like his mom. He stepped heavily and exaggeratedly towards the bed in the room before flopping onto it. |

| Dana smirked as she watched, thinking how much Declan really was hers despite biology. She grabbed her phone, messing with it for a moment before calling the house number, going to sit by Declan. |

Declan rolled over and curled into Dana, wrapping his arms around her as he shifted to settle his head into her lap, his face nestled into her middle.
Dixon had just picked up the twins from school, as it was a short day for them, and was at the house getting their snacks ready before they had to go out and pick up Dixie from her school. He was never as good in the kitchen as Dana (or anyone for that matter), but he was making a wholehearted attempt at fish sticks for his kids when he heard the phone ring.
"Dally, answer that for me, please?" He hollered out to his youngest. |

"Kay!" Dally chirped and climbed down from his seat carefully before running to grab the phone, standing on tip toe to grab it. "Hello!" he greeted into it.
"Hi Dally!" Dana crooned, petting at Declan's hair. "Is Daddy there?"
"Hi Mommy! Yah." Dalton went to hurry back to the kitchen. "Daddyyy!" |

"Hey Momma. How is everything?" He greeted as he tucked the phone between his shoulder then to continue with his snack prep. |

| "Just fine, baby. Just got settled in our hotel after dinner with Lewis- probably gonna get a shower and settle for TV and sleep here sooooon. We miss you so much though. Let me put you on speaker." Dana said going to put him on speaker phone. "Say hi, Deccy." |

"Hi, baby boy! How are you? How was your flight?" Dixon asked, smiling all the same when he heard the grin in his son's voice.
"It was kay...I got sick though." Declan pursed his lips at that. |
