After a rather restless night of sleep, Declan woke up long before Dana did and long before their alarm could go off. He had gotten up and groomed himself as he usually did and even took out the outfit he and Dana had picked out for this occasion, laying it out neatly on his suitcase for when it was time to get ready. He clicked on the TV and turned it on low before crawling back into bed with Dana, nestling himself back into her arms as he watched TV, anxiously tugging at his ear as he tried to evade the nervousness for the day through the screen and in his mother's arms. |

| Dana eventually stirred, able to sense how tense Declan felt next to her. "Mm, Deccy, baby boy?" she murmured, yawning sleepily. |

| "Yeah, Momma?" Declan turned his head to look over at Dana, frowning as he did so. "Did I wake you up? I can turn off the TV." He said, already very apologetic. |
