Rudy carried Faye towards her bedroom and promptly laid her out on her bed, looking down at her with a smile before leaning over to kiss her agian.
"You're so beautiful, Faye." He mumbled against her lips. |

Faye moved to cuddle up to Rudy, taking a few deep breaths as she cuddled up to his chest, after all was said and done. "Well hi." she laughed a bit. |

It'd been a month or so since Rudy and Faye had become more or less official. Of course, neither of them had suggested the whole marriage thing or even the moving in thing, so it was still a bit scandalous since they had already known each other rather biblically. But they were happy, what they had worked.
Rudy, as he suggested even before they dated, had made a habit of walking Faye home, though tonight it didn't look like he'd make it since he was working on a bit of a tough case. He was back at the station and gave a weary sigh as he grabbed up his phone and set the device into his lap before lifting it off it's hook and dialing Faye's work number to tell her he wouldn't make it tonight. |
