Ever since Faye and Rudy had agreed on dinner date nights, they'd been an every night thing really. The few nights Rudy couldn't come due to having to stay in over night for a case or some big deal going on, Faye had to admit didn't feel right.
The house almost felt... empty. She didn't eat at the table when he wasn't there, just in the kitchen and then pitter pattered around but they had really become so close in such a short amount of time.
Even the girls at work were rooting their little 'relationship' on, after Rudy had stopped by the diner 'purely' out of coincidence.
And tonight was no different. It was another dinner date night and sitting on the sofa in front of the TV, which had been a gift from her mother, though tonight they had no focus on the TV and just on each others presence, thanks to a little too much wine at the dinner table.
"I really do love your eyes, Rudy." Faye complimented with a little laugh, face flushed from the alcohol, leaning back against the arm of the sofa as she peered at him almost adoringly. |

| Faye leaned into the affectionate touch with a smile. "You sweet talker, you. God, I just love your smile." she said, reaching over to run her hand along his jaw gently. "I've gotten so used to you being here in the evenings, I dunno what to do when you're not around now, you know" |
