Lawrence watched to make sure he got in the house before turning with a sigh and going to head back to the scene.
Faye was still sitting in the backyard, almost just a wisp and a very lost look to her face, staring off towards the house. |

Rudy made his way into the house and almost as soon as the door was closed behind him, he sank down to his knees and began simpering all over again.
How could he have let this happen? |
