| Rory paused, blinking a few times as she tried to register that. "Uh, sorry, what?" she asked, trying to sound like she just hadn't heard him very well at first. "Uh, oh, oh." she reached up to rub at the back of her neck, trying to keep casual as possible. Her chest felt tight and constricted all of the sudden. She didn't think her feelings were that bad but the realization and reality hitting her square in the chest just now.. well.. it hurt. Elliot didn't care about her past Dallas. "Um.. well, who is she?" she asked, trying to just put up that block, those walls of hers she always had and bottle it away, her fingers clasping onto her mug tightly. |

We've been getting a little more serious.
Rory felt her fingers twitch slightly, wanting to touch at her tattoo but she forced her other hand to clasp around the mug as well. "Oh um, well..." she tried to look thoughtful. Think of Dallas, think of Dallas. You're not important. "Well, maybe we should do a mutual meet up thing... me meet her with Dallas so he's fully comfortable and see how he reacts to her?" |

She cleared her throat, taking another sip of her drink before putting the mug down, fingers still tight. "Dallas would love that." |

| Rory tried to look distracted with the pattern on her mug, her chest aching. She knew better, in the back of her mind, that things were done. Over. By her own hand, things were done and she should've moved on and never expected things to just 'fix' someday. "Uhm.. yeah. Yeah, Saturday is okay." she answered. "Just text me whatever time and we'll meet you there." |

Instead, he reached across the table and gave her arm a pat before getting up. "I'll see you guys then." He said, leaving it at that. |
