Dana wiped at her forehead as she set down her last box in the kitchen, which were all her kitchen utensils that she had at home and had gotten just for this. Her and Dixon had finally gotten their own place and was just getting moved in.
Dana had immediately set to unpacking the kitchen and had only just dragged and carried in boxes to unpack. It was a decently sized cute little apartment, with a room for the kids and a room for her and Dixon and one bathroom and a balcony. A kitchen a bit on the smaller side, sure, but Dana loved it anyhow.
She had Declan set up in a baby bouncer right where she could see him and he could see her, since he seemed adamant to be near her at all times while she had told Dixie to start unpacking her things in her and Declan's room, like a good big girl, since she had thrown a tantrum about not doing things on her own. |

While he was absolutely exhausted, Dixon was absolutely pleased with how things had panned out over the last few months with his little family. Declan had recovered well from his little illness and his and Dana's relationship was well on the mend as well.
They'd decided to start things as fresh as they could get with dating, wanting to start slow and what not, but it wasn't before long that that idea was thrown out the window and they were looking at apartments together.
The apartment theyd' managed to get was by no means fancy, but Dixon was happy to call it theirs. The building was very family friendly as there were a whole mess of children and parents sprawled all throughout. Dixie had already been asked out on a playdate by one of the other moms in the building, Declan too, even, but Dixon was wary of that as Declan had turned out to be glued to Dana.
Even now, as they all unpacked, Dixon could hear Declan whimpering for Dana's attention in the kitchen from where he sat unpacking in the bathroom. He stretched and looked over at the bouncer, watching Declan standing on his tiptoes, stretching for Dana.

| Declan frowned, but stopped his "pleading" as if he understood Dana. He took to bouncing himself, although he still chirped "mum" as that was apparently the only word he knew. |

Dixon smiled from his perch, having watched the two of them, before clearing his throat.
"It's going to take for days. I don't understand why you have this many different scented lotions and body sprays." He teased her. |

| "I suppose that's true. I love cuddling with you when you wear that cinnamon apple crap. You smell like cuddling an apple orchard." Dixon chuckled with a smirk. "Baby Dix, how are you doing, missy?" Dixon called out before hopping to his feet to go check on their daughter. |

"Gee, thanks." Dana chuckled, shaking her head.
Dixie had dragged out all of the toys and was dressed up in her tiara and dress, instead of putting much of anything away. She had three childrens books in the little book case and one pillow on the bed. |
