| Harper got everything situated for the appointment in eight weeks before looking at Griffith for him to lead the way out, hugging her arms around herself tightly. "L-Lets g-go." |

| "O-okay." Griffith spoke quietly as he proceeded towards the exit. He opened the doors up, held them open for Harper, and proceeded to the car with her, where he opened those doors for her too. He stepped over to the driver's side of the car and slumped inside, sitting quietly for a moment before speaking up. "I...I'm sorry, Harper... I just... I really wish I knew wh-what I could do...I just...I just want to hold you...and make you feel better, I do...I do." |

| Harper sniffled, feeling even worse. "G-Griff... Griffith, pl-please.. it's not your fa-fault, I j-just.. I.. I'm s-sorry." she said quietly. She couldn't handle it, not yet. She couldn't be held against someone and not panic. Darcy had tried to hug her a few days ago and she had had a moment of sheer fear. |

As soon as it was started and put into gear, he glanced over and swallowed a nervous bud in his throat before reaching over, offering his hand out to her. "Let's...let's just go home, okay?" |

| After a short drive, as well as some more reassuring schmoozing in the parking lot, Griffith and Harper had finally made it to the clinic and were just settling into the waiting room until they were called. Griffith sat beside Harper and offered his hand out for her to take, as he knew that while he was nervous, she was definitely feeling it more. |

| Harper immediately took his hand in between both of hers, even though her hands were shaking badly. "Just wish they'd call our name already." she said quietly, leaning closer to Griffith for the sense of safety and protection. Being out of the house was still hard for her. |

Just then, as if right on cue, a nurse emerged from the back.
"Harper Fitz?" She called, looking around the room for Harper. |

The woman looked over and offered a small smile before gesturing for Harper and Griffith to follow her to the back, which, upon getting up, Griffith moved to do so. As they approached, the nurse held open the door leading back to the exam rooms.
"Your doctor will be with you shortly, she just went to go get your lab work." The nurse explained. |
