"Not at all. It's already done, she just has to pick up the results." The nurse nodded. "I'm going to step out now, but, like I said, she should be in shortly." And with that, the nurse gave a curt nod and excused herself.
Meanwhile, Griff let out a pent up sigh and went to take his own usual perch beside Harper's exam table in the stool. |

Harper held onto his hand very tightly, fidgeting with their wedding rings while she waited for the doctor. After a few long torturous minutes, there was a light knock at the door and the doctor stepped in.
"Good afternoon, Mister and Missus Fitz." she smiled at them both, file in her hand as she went over to take her usual seat to look them over. |

"Let me just look this over so I can give you, your answer real quick before we do the usual questioning, hm?" She nodded and went to open the file once she was sitting down and read through it.
Harper held onto Griffith's hand even tighter, praying and praying and PRAYING that she said what they both wanted.
"Hmmm, lets see here..." the Doctor murmured some things to herself that Harper couldn't really understand before the woman turned around, looking relieved for the two of them.
"Griffith, the DNA from the baby matches yours. You are the paternal father." |

Griffith felt his heart tumble a bit and he let out a quaky breath. A small, relieved smile twitched it's way onto his lips.
"I-It's for sure?" He sputtered, not really wanting to second guess after everything, of course, but simply so pleased with the result he wanted to make sure he wasn't dreaming or being delusional. |

Harper stared at her before raising a hand to cover her mouth to stifle a sob, relieved tears immediately pouring down her face. "Th-th-thank g-god." |

Griff was unable to contain himself as he rose to his feet and wrapped his arms around Harper's shoulders, gathering her up into his middle as he let out a giddy little sob of his own, tears streaking hsi cheeks.
"Baby...baby...I'm...see? It's a-alright now, its okay." He sputtered happily. |

| The doctor went to step out to give them a moment of privacy while Harper cried into Griffith's chest with a shaky nod. "I'm s-so re-relieved." she cried. |

Harper cuddled with him for a bit before going to pull away and wipe at her eyes when the doctor came back in with the ultrasound cart already.
"I thought you may want to get a check up while you're here, Missus Fitz?" she asked.
Harper nodded, going to lay down with another sniffle. |

| Griffith reached over to rub his thumb over Harper's cheeks one last time before he sat back down and offered his hand out to her, so ready to be moving on from all the previous worry. |
