"You better quit playing or your girlfriend will run back to her house, and she can outrun you if you recall." Elise laughed, sitting up fully then to start searching for their clothes. "Should we get ramyeon since we're going back to your place?" She asked jokingly as she grabbed up Oliver's pants and tossed them to him over her shoulder.

Oliver caught them and stood up as he went to shrug his clothes back on. "Whatever you want. I'm just starving. Maybe we can rent a movie?"

"Ah, there's a movie that came out recently that my brothers' friend was in. You know her, I'm sure. Ra Lim? If we can find it, we should rent that one." Elise said, tugging on her shirt as soon as she found it. She found Oliver's shirt on the ground by her and she stretched to hand it to him before stumbling upon her pants and tugging those on. "Should we get a cake? Since it's our first day officially being a couple?" She asked, serious.

"Matcha cake or a cheese cake?" Oliver asked, also completely serious as he pulled on the rest of his clothes. "We should also grab boba."

"Mm, cheesecake sounds good." Elise said, perking at the suggestion of boba as well. "We have a full menu on our hands." She stepped forward and reached up to fix some of Oliver's hair for him. She took a beat to look up at his face, admiring him, before reaching up with both of her hands to squish his cheeks between her palms. "A main course, a drink, a dessert, and a little snack for later." She stretched to kiss him, as if to emphasize he was the snack.

Oliver laughed as best as he could while squished but gave her a kiss in return. "Lets goooo then. Stomachs gonna start drowning out all our conversation otherwise." he sighed dramatically. "And I would really like my snack later." he grinned cheekily.

Soo Mi was doing her end of the day chores to close up the shop after a half day before her and Elise were supposed to have a little 'girls day' and go do some shopping. Soo Mi needed to get some things for the kids before school started back up and Coda had insisted she get herself something nice too.

Elise had been complaining about not feeling so great lately and feeling bloated, so they were planning on getting her something for her stomach and stopping by a tea place on the way there to try and calm her queasiness.

Elise didn't think she could get any happier until she and Oliver finally took the next step in their relationship and became official. Of course, neither of them could say anything to anyone as they were righteously worried about each of their public image, Oliver with his band and Elise being famous adjacent thanks to her brothers and their work. Elise had seen through Tanner's relationship with Mi Na how a perfectly happy couple could be torn apart by public scrutiny, and she did not have any desire to bring that on Oliver or herself for that matter. Still, for all of it's secrecy, Elise had found great happiness in her budding relationship with Oliver.

They were already near inseparable when they were courting, but now that they were dating and her summer break had started up, Elise found herself spending more and more time with Oliver.

They had been dating for only a few days before Oliver gave her a key to his place, so she often went over to his apartment just before he was finished with work so that she could start dinner for them and get entertainment situated for the night. She didn't sleep over often, but when she did, she often woke to Oliver making them coffee to share in bed before starting their day. Despite not sharing the apartment, Oliver had gone out of his way to make space for Elise's things, giving her a set of drawers in the dresser and moving things around in his closet to give her room. Perhaps it was because of their long courtship that despite things moving quickly in the past month, it felt long overdue and exciting.

That is until Elise began feeling sick.

It'd been about three weeks since Oliver had asked Elise to be his girlfriend when she first felt unwell. She wasn't someone who easily got sick, but in the last few weeks she had puked more times than she had in her entire life combined, which perhaps wasn't much, but it was noticeable. When she wasn't outright sick, she often felt bloated and fatigued, which had admittedly put a damper on her "love life" with Oliver, though he hardly seemed to be bothered by it the same way she was. Oliver wasn't as concerned with their sudden lack of intimacy (though one could argue there was a sudden influx of it their first couple of weeks together) as he was with Elise's wellbeing. He diligently took care of her with whatever soups and remedies he could find on google, though nothing had really helped yet. It was fine though, it would eventually pass, Elise was sure. She just wished it would pass sooner or later.

Oliver had told her he'd be home a little later than usual due to some photoshoot something or other, so instead of going right to his apartment to wait for him, Elise had offered to help Soo Mi with the shop and some errands after. She was currently outside giving the plants one last watering while Soo Mi finished up inside. Elise felt out of it, caught somewhere between her constant queasiness and her fatigued brain, so she watered the plants with a distant look on her face.

Soo Mi glanced over at her sister in law as she stepped out with her bag and locked up the shop doors. She knit her brows together and pursed her lips as she watched her for a moment. "Yah... Elise, are you sure you feel up to going to town? Maybe I should take you home and make you some tea to help instead." she doted like a concerned mother hen as she went over to her.

"Huh?" Elise snapped to, turning to face her sister-in-law. "Oh, no, I'm fine, Unnie. I'm just...you know. Same old same old." She shrugged with a light smile as she stepped away to turn off the hose and roll it up, tucking it behind a rack of plants where it was usually kept.

Soo Mi frowned, lips pursing a little again. "How long has this been going on, Elise? Have you gone to the doctors yet?" she asked, offering out her arm to her.

"Just a couple of weeks, but it comes and goes. That's mostly why I haven't gone yet...but I know I should." Elise sighed as she took up Soo Mi's arm, sidling up next to her so she could "dramatically" rest her head on the other woman's arm. "It's mostly just nausea and being tired, so it doesn't feel life threatening, but I should go...but I also hate doctors." She whined.

"You know I will go with you." Soo Mi sighed, reaching to pet her hair. "And I'm sure you-know-who is worried about you too."

"Yah, don't even get me started on that guy." Elise said with a laugh. "All he does is fuss over me these days. He's lucky that whatever I have can't be passed to him, otherwise it would have already."

"He isn't sick too?" Soo Mi asked in a bit of surprise, starting to walk down the street with her.
