| Alexandra wiggled and continued to simper quietly as she looked up at Lucita with big wet eyes. Meanwhile, Cris went back over to where he'd dropped the desserts and began picking up the mess, looking up when he heard Lucita and Alexandra. |

Alexandra's simpers turned to quiet little grunts and eventually concerned (or that's how it sounded) little coos at Lucita.
Cris sighed and picked up everything, wiping everything up and sweeping over the area a few times even. Once it was all done, he went over to the couch and sat down with his little family, placing an arm around Lucita's shoulders.
"I'm sorry, mi amor. I'll buy you new bowls tomorrow." He said to her. "And I'm sorry I upset the baby. I'm sorry I let Greg do that...I'm sorry." He said to her. |
