Cris had settled comfortably into the bed with Alexandra, so comfottable that he'd begun to doze with her until he heard the door unlocking. He blinked his eyes open and grinned a little as he sat up.
"Sounds like Mami is home." He said quietly to Alexandra, who'd fallen asleep at last. He rubbed his face and went to get up and exit the room. |

Greg glanced up when he heard the faint footsteps. "Luci, is someone in your house?" he blinked.
Lucita blinked at him before going to peer into the living room warily. "I..hello?" she called. |

| It was Alexandra who made a sound first, whimpering in annoyance at the sudden noises and wiggling angrily in Cris's arms. |

Lucita jumped at the noise, muttering a curse in spanish quietly before realizing. "...O-oh my god, Cris? Alexa? Mi bebe?" she asked, throwing her bag to the ground and hurrying to the bedroom hallway.
Greg followed, just in case, frowning. |

Cris had just exited the bedroom when Lucita came rushing down the hallway. He lit up when he saw her.
"Mi amor, we were trying to surprise you." He chuckled, going to meet her halfway. |

| Lucita pursed her lips immediately to hold back tears and threw herself at Cris practically (though very carefully because of Alexandra), sniffling. "Mi amor, Cristobal, you sc-scared me to death! I'm so glad you're here!" |

Lucita sniffled and reached to kiss at Alexa's head over and over. "Oh, Mi bebe, come here." she crooned, going to take her from Cris.
"Hey, Luci, all alright?" Greg said as he rounded the corner. "Oh." he sputtered in surprise. |
