"Not pouting." Griffith said, doing as he was told and taking the basket from her. He carried it over to the work bench he'd managed to tediously scrub clean and set it down, opening it up. Before he could even look at the contents himself, Dixon had appeared at his side and went to rummage through it. "Ah, ah, ah! No, sanitize your hands." He scolded, which earned him a look from Dixon. "You touched the cat, I'm sorry, but I'm still cautious." He said, thrusting the sanitizer towards his brother.

Dixon rolled his eyes and huffed a sigh before sanitizing his hands.

Darcy rolled his eyes too and rubbed at the cats ears, not moving from his spot as he was sure that Griffith would throw another fit over him even being close to the food with the cat in his lap.

Harper held back another sigh and went over to get food for herself and for Darcy

Much to Griffith's dismay, as soon as Dixon had collected his food, he quickly returned to Darcy's side, taking a seat on the floor with a grin on his face as he looked up at the cat. He took a bit of the tuna sandwich he'd grabbed, offering it to the cat while chirping at it.

Griffith made a face, shaking his head as he grabbed a PB&J for himself. He went over to a small couch (one that'd been constructed out of an old vinyl seat from the back of a car) and sat down.

Harper shook her head a little and got herself and Darcy food and bottles of water, taking Darcy his food and the water before going to go sit by Griffith. "Oof, your babies are so heavy..."

Darcy smiled, watching the cat take the food and looked around for something to pour some water into for her.

"Yeah, well, they're getting pretty big now, aren't they?" Griffith said, unable to stay bitter too long whenever his and Harper's babies were brought up. He reached over with his cleaner hand (the one he'd sanitized Harper's with) and rubbed at her belly. "You guys causing trouble for your momma?" He crooned.

"Oh yeah, definitely." Harper huffed, rubbing her back after getting settled. "You guys are really making a notch in cleaning here."

"Yeah, I think we'll wrap it up after this for today. I'll come back down tomorrow and gut out the back office, call the electric company to get things re-wired." Griffith said, his hand settled on Harper's belly, hopeful for the movements he, according to the baby book, he'd be able to feel very soon. Meanwhile, with his other hand, he tore his sandwich in half and began pecking at it. "I've gotta meet with my parents' lawyer again, he said he'd help me get the paperwork together to get the business license for this place renewed."

"Have you got an appointment set up for that yet?" Harper asked, eating pieces of her own sandwich.

"He just told me to swing by. It's more of a casual thing with him, you know? He's an old friend of my dad's." Griffith explained with a nod. "He's actually Dixon's Godfather." Griffith said, nodding towards Dixon, who'd apparently given at least half of his sandwich to the cat.

"Oh." Harper nodded, glancing over at Dixon before looking back at him. "Why don't you invite him over for dinner sometime then, hm?"

"Sure, that'd be nice after we're done with the house and everything." Griffith grinned. "I bet he'd really like to meet you and our little buns in the oven." He crooned, leaning over in his seat then to place a kiss at the top of Harper's belly. As soon as he recoiled, he popped the rest of the sandwich in his mouth and extended a hand towards Harper, as if to ask for a drink from her water bottle.

Harper handed it over with no protest, finishing her own sandwich after a moment. "Be easy on Darcy, okay?" she said quietly, looking at him. "Especially about the cat. He took care of a lot of the strays and stuff while we were on the streets, even though he was little. I understand your side, just be easy about it, please." she said.

Griffith took a drink of the water bottle, capping it and handing it back, before glancing over towards Darcy. He gave a sigh and then looked back to Harper.

"I'll try, Harper, but if that cat is sick, in any way, I'm not going to be bringing it home with us. Not a chance." He explained.

"I know, I understand. But at least help him take it to a shelter or somewhere that'll help, okay?" Harper said, taking the water back.

"Yeah, yeah, of course." Griffith said with a nod. He moved his hand from Harper's belly and reached for her hand, giving it a squeeze as he leaned over to place a kiss at her lips. "I'm going to get Darcy and head out then. Dixon will lock up and help you carry everything home."
