Elliot glared at the girl for a few long moments, teeth still pressed tight together, before he looked to Clyde.
"Six bucks." He repeated to him.
Clyde fumbled for his wallet, not wanting to further piss Elliot off, and pulled out six bucks to give to the girl. |

| Elliot grumbled his dissatisfaction with the situation as he snatched the book out of the girl's hands, not so much as a "thank you" as he proceeded towards the door. He opened up the door and looked up when he saw the bell jangling there annoyingly. He growled and reached up and yanked it off it's wire. |

| Rory gave a frustrated growl and slammed the door back shut as she stepped back in, sighing heavily. She was going to have to pay to replace that damn thing. "Fucking asshole." she muttered and stormed back to the front desk. |

"Rorrryyy, lighten up!" Jessica, Rory's 'best' friend sang as she dragged Rory towards the field where a big party was going on with a huge campfire. "It'll be fun! Maybe you'll even meet a cute guy!"
"Jess... you know I hate coming to these. Why can't we just go to the movies or something?" Rory asked with a shy. She knew as soon as Jessica had a drink and saw someone attractive, Rory would be left on her own. |

The last week had been hell on the engines as far as Elliot was concerned, so going to this party a friend was hosting to get totally sloshed was a prize well earned and deserved.
He'd arrived with Benny and Clyde, but they'd both ran off almost as soon as they got there, leaving Elliot to nurse himself off the keg with constant refills of beer for the night. |

She crinkled her nose and shoved her hands in her jacket pockets, looking around. She very reluctantly went to slink off towards the beer keg, hoping maybe the table near by would have soda or something non-alcoholic. |

Elliot was leaning lazily on a the keg on the table, refilling his solo cup, when he happened to glance up when he saw someone approaching. Almost instantly his face pinched tight when he recognized the girl heading his way as the "saltine" from the store the other day. He was NOT about to let her ruin another day.
"Jesus." He sighed to himself as he tried to turn away casually, hoping to just ignore the girl. |

"Oh? Are you talking to me? I thought maybe you'd seen your mug in a reflection." Elliot fired back. |
