Elliot made a slight face. Either Elijah was suddenly in a sour mood, or, perhaps, this was where he got his resting bitch face from. He approached cautiously.
“Uh, we're ready to go. Do you want to meet us there or...do you need a ride?” He asked. |

Elliot watched after Elijah for a moment before going to get Dally and Ava buckled up.

After a short drive, Elliot rolled up to the diner and looked around for Elijah’s car. Half of him assumed the man wouldn’t even show up. |

| Elijah was parked and waiting in his car till he saw Elliot pull in. He went to get out then, pulling his jacket on as he did. |

When Elliot saw Elijah, he let out a sigh. So...they were really doing this. He proceeded to get out of the car and went to get both kids.
Ava was awake now and quietly cooing and flailing her arms at Elliot as he helped out Dally out and then her.
“Cmon babies.” He crooned to them as he led them all towards Elijah. |
