| "I love you too, handsome." Griffith smiled, turning himself around so he could hobble back on over to Harlow. He stooped over and kissed his youngest on the forehead. "Sleep, okay? I'll be back in a bit after helping everyone get ready to go for the day." |

Griffith reached out once more to pet at Harlow's hair before leaving the room and going to find his wife. He could hear Tessa giggling and talking with, presumably, Harper in the kids' bathroom, earning a smile from himself. He came up to the cracked open door and gave a light knock on the door frame.
"Knock knock." He greeted before pushing the door open a little more and watching as Tessa turned around and beamed at him.
"Morning, Daddy." She smiled.
"Morning, sweet girl." He said to her, going over to kiss her cheek. "You almost done?"
"Momma just finished. I just have to grab my book bag." She said before excusing herself.
Griffith smiled before turning to Harper, letting out a little sigh as his smile fell only slightly.
"Harlow doesn't want to go to school again." He said, quietly, to her. |

| "I don't know...he likes to handle things on his own, so it might be hard, but I'll talk to him today." Griffith nodded, reaching out then while leaning on his crutches to grab at Harper's waist, urging her towards him while his thumbs ran over the slight heft growing at her waistline. "Don't worry too much, okay? We don't need you and baby getting too stressed." He crooned to her as he leaned in to nuzzle at Harper's cheek. "Just ask, see what's available and I'll talk to Harlow." |

Griffith gave a little smile and leaned back in to kiss at Harper's lips with a brief peck. "Just relax today, Mommas. Do good work, come home, I'll cook for you and take care of you today, okay?" |
