Griffith said, reaching down between his feet where he'd nestled his beer. He picked up the bottle and took a hardy swig. He watched as Peace Piper got up and grabbed his victim, hefting him up to his feet, and walking off with him, his arms flailing as he spoke loudly about "something in the attic he just had to see". |

He looked to the space between he and Harper that Peace Piper and his "friend" had previously occupied and dared to close the gap by resuming their seats, which was a decidedly rather bold move. |

| "He's got a younger brother, Clark, I went to high school with. Before I started, uh, working with my brother, I had come over for these get-together's with him, and met Piper. Clark went off to college, lost contact with him, but me and Piper were already tight enough that I kept coming." Griffith explained, taking anotehr drink of his beer, finishing it off. He got up briefly, going over to the nearest cooler to grab more beer, one for him and another for Harper whenever she finished hers off. He sat back down and set hers down by her feet and opened up his own. |
