Griffith is significantly closer to Dixon because they spent the most time together growing up. Despite the fact there’s only a two year difference, Griffith often babies his brother due to him “wanting to look out” for him. This irks Dixon quite a bit because he wants to be on equal grounding with both of his brothers and wants to be taken seriously and wants to join the gang. If it’s one thing Griffith and Lawson agree on, it’s that will never happen.
While alive, Griffith was certainly a mama’s boy, always at her apron strings so to speak. He was devastated when she passed. In regards to his father, he admired him up until his mother became ill and he let himself go. After that, he developed a strong bitterness for him, which only intensified when he died the way he did.
Happiest memory: One of Griffith’s fondest memories was helping his mother make lunches for everyone to take down to the shop while Mack and Lawson (who was learning at the time) were working so they could all have lunch together. To this day, one of his favorite smells is gasoline and PB&Js.
Childhood trauma: Watching his mother’s health rapidly decline, along with his father’s stability, was hard, but losing the both of them (while he was a bit resentful towards his father) was even harder. However, even harder was losing his sister.

Athletic?: Very. He and both of his brothers played in little league growing up, and while they don’t play any sports now, he maintains a fine level of athleticism having to brawl for territory and run from the cops.
Notes: PAINFULLY sarcastic, somewhat bitter, kind of like a pissy teenager (oh wait). Has a certain soft side at times, although, when in the face of gang activity, he has learned to take no prisoners. Before joining the gang, Griffith showed promise in the scientific field of engineering. Much like his father and older brother, he has a knack for tinkering and making things run. Incredibly smart, but doesn't think too highly of his technical skills, assumes he's going to live and die in the gang one day.

Relationship with family (close? estranged?): Lawson was fortunate enough to have had his entire upbringing done under both of his parents. He grew up in a very loving environment and had a healthy relationship with his parents and siblings. It wasn't until after his mother fell ill that things turned sour. Much like Griffith, Lawson has a certain level of bitterness in regards to his father and the way things ended. He maintains the notion still that what his father did was cowardly, even if it was out of his own sadness due to the loss of his wife.
Lawson took in both of his younger brothers when their mother passed, but was unable to obtain Coco. Griffith is especially bitter over the loss of their sister, he often tells Lawson he should have fought harder for her, although, there’s no telling whether or not that would have made much of a difference. There is definite tension between the two elder brothers. However, despite their disagreements, Lawson and Griffith do agree on how Dixon’s upbringing should be handled in the way they both want him to get an education and they both want him to stay out of the gang, which he joined and ascended through the ranks through peculiar circumstances.
Recently married and has a baby on the way with his longtime girlfriend, Flora Mendez-Fitz (22). They’re expecting a girl.
Happiest memory: While Griffith was a mama’s boy, Lawson was the apple of his father’s eye and he loved his father dearly as well. Spending time in the garage of his father’s quant little auto shop was some of the best time he ever spent doing anything. The next happiest moment was finding out he was going to be a dad.
Childhood trauma: Lawson was fortunate enough to not have any particular childhood trauma, however, the event that had the greatest impact on him was by far the loss of both of his parents in such a short period of time.

Relationship with family (close? estranged?): Dixon was only nine when both of his parents passed away, so, naturally, he was devastated to have been orphaned as such a young age. He took the hit of his mother’s passing the hardest and slept in her closet for three days after the funeral, the first day he was joined by both of his brothers and sister. Still, he was young enough he doesn’t recall much of anything in regards to their father’s state after her passing, which Griffith and Lawson are grateful for to no end. He also remembers little of the situation that took their sister from them. He vaguely remembers her even.
Dixon is much closer to Griffith than Lawson, only due to the fact that he spends much more time with Griffith since Lawson is out the door before anyone even wakes up. However, he idolizes both of his brothers, especially in regards to their work with the gang. He constantly begs to be let in, however, neither of his brothers will allow that to happen. He’s also fond of Lawson’s wife, Flora, who is much like a mother to him even though there’s only a six year difference between them.
Happiest memory: He often enjoyed Saturday mornings because his father didn’t have to work and he always managed to slip into the bed with both of his parents before they woke up, and when they did wake up, they made him a “Dixie Sandwich” between them. He also liked the fact that when his brothers woke up, they’d join them in a big messy pile-cuddle.
Childhood trauma: Undoubtedly, losing his parents was the greatest trauma to Dixon, however, losing his sister and having to be uprooted and moved to the city was also very strenuous for him. For the first six months after having moved, he slept with Griffith and often refused to go to school. Eventually things got better, though, and he started going to school regularly and bucked up.

She's very protective over Darcy due to their past situation and she looks up to and admittedly, trusts Kasper and Harriet to look after them. She's grateful towards Kasper for doing his all to find them a good place to stay and for even taking them in like he had, despite everything with his gang.
She would never hesitate to jump to help Kasper in anything and whole Darcy acts more grown up than his age due to matters, she does her best to keep him off the street and out of the violence and hate stirring.

Her two sisters, Amelia and Courtney, are often cruel to her, even going as far as cutting off all of her hair and insisting that she did it to herself when interrogated by their parents. Her adopted parents often make a point to tell her how grateful she should be, although, she doesn’t feel like she has much to be grateful for.
Happiest memory: The memory is vague, but she can recollect sometime when she was still young and there were three ridiculously sobby boys smothering her in kisses and hugs. It’s a bittersweet memory, but at least she remembers at that moment she was loved unconditionally.

They have risked everything time and time again to make sure that their daughter, and their four other children, would have decent upbringings. They started out as migrant workers, however, upon dropping their fifth child, they managed to settle down in a half-decent neighborhood in their current city, away from migrant work.
Jorge started his own yard business and employed all three of his boys, meanwhile, Lupita started her own housecleaning business, where Flora and her sister both worked.
They lost two of their boys due to gang activity.

Relationship with family (close? estranged?): Flora’s relationship with her family is very strained due to her relationship and marriage with Lawson. While she’s on speaking terms with both of her siblings, neither of her parents acknowledge her anymore, the same goes for her extended family. However, she’s not very bothered by it due to the fact she loves Lawson and his family and is more than excited to be pregnant with her and Lawson’s first little papoose.
Happiest memory: Flora’s happiest memory so far has been finding out she was pregnant with Lawson’s baby, which led to a series of them both laughing giddily and screaming at each other in their underwear. He proposed to her right then and there and they got their marriage officiated a week later in the courthouse.

Relationship with family (close? estranged?): While he was never close to his parents, he has always been very close to his older sister Harper. He has always relied on her for pretty much everything and now that he is older, he feels a bit guilty about that and wishes he could take some of the responsibility off her shoulders, though he doesn't want in the gang like she and Kasper seem to be afraid about.
He isn't all that happy about Harper even being in it and just wishes she'd get a proper job that wasn't her pizza delivery job and try to get her GED and maybe try college, like he himself was aiming for someday in the future.
He stays home a lot with Harriet, who has become quite the important figure in his life. He helps her around the house constantly, does most of the chores and thoroughly enjoys cooking with her and learning new recipes.
He and Kasper have more of a civil friendship than a family relationship. Kasper thinks that they're rather close but Darcy is quite bitter to him, though he respects him on the aspect of taking him and his sister in and taking care of them.

Parents’ names, backgrounds, occupations: Jimena Delgado, Mateo Delgado. (deceased) Jimena and Mateo had Luis and his brother late in life, due to them just never being at a point where they felt comfortable with the resources they had to build a family. However, once they'd came into their life, planned or not, Jimena and Mateo were the best parents they could possibly be. Mateo was the hardest worker Luis has ever known and he thrives to be like him, especially after Mateo's passing and everything that happened with his brother. Jimena lives in a retirement community near Luis now due to declining health.

He and his brother, Sebastian, who is younger than him by a year, were close until they were both teenagers. From that point, Sebastian got into a life of drugs and crime, stealing from his and Luis' parents and even Luis himself later on in life.
