Dixon had never had a girlfriend before, let alone gone on a date, so he was far beyond nervous as he stood outside the place he was supposed to be meeting Dana for their date.
He fussed with the inner lining of his jacket pockets, bouncing on his feet as he watched for Dana, wondering if she'd show up at all, after all, when Dixon thought about it, he'd been...God, he'd been kind of a dope when he asked her out. Then again Dana didn't look like the type of gal to dip on a date after setting plans up and what have you.
Before he'd come, Dixon had tried to ask Griffith how he should act, but his older brother was as useless as ever in that regard, giving him a shrug and telling him the usual "be yourself" mumbo jumbo. What did that even mean anyhow? |

| "Hey, Dixon!" Dana chirped as she came down the street, pulling on the sleeves of her black sweater. She was pretty nervous herself, truth be told but still as cheerful and bright as ever. And excited. |

Dixon's whole face lit up and his shoulder eased up as he physically untensed, relieved that Dana had actually shown up after all. He raised his hand in a wave and approached her, meeting her halfway in the parking lot.
"Hey, glad you could make it!" He grinned, heart fluttering a bit the closer he got to Dana. |

| "You did, you did, but...I mean, you could have decided not to come." Dixon said, flushing when he saw the pink in Dana's own cheeks. He reached up to ruffle his hair. "Or maybe you could've gotten lost or something." He joked lightly. |

Dixon flushed even more and his grin turned dopey as he gave a little nod.
"Y-yeah it is, haha. Let's get in." He said, giving a giddy and bashful laugh. |

"How's everything going with the play?" Dixon asked then. He hadn't been asked to go back to help out with drama club since there was an upcoming tournament he was supposed to be focusing on, although, his mind still managed to drift to the auditorium.

| "Is there like...they're called understudies, right? When someone practices for the same role?" Dixon asked, walking Dana inside and up to the front counter. He freed up his arm only then to take out his wallet to pay for their buffets and a ten dollar bucket of tokens for the games in the arcade. He offered his arm back up to Dana then. |
