| Oliver pulled off his hat quickly and put it on Elise, putting his arm around her afterwards to guard her and guard her face before going to quickly hurry down the street. "We might have to run." He whispered to her, keeping his head down. |

Elise paused in her steps, listening to the not-so-distant footfalls of the photography pests, before looking towards the wall surrounding the campus proper they were walking along.
"Wait, if we can get to the southern gate of campus, we can head towards the dance studio. It should be emptied out by now and I have a key fob to get us in." She suggested. |

| "I-woah!" Oliver yelped with a laugh and quickly moved to catch up beside her, glancing back once or twice to make sure they were losing them. |

| If the paparazzi were persistent, Elise was relentless. While she would have never considered herself an outright athlete, she was at least physically fit given that dance demanded it. She was light on her feet and had stamina, so she kept up a good pace, dragging Oliver along, as the photographer's demanding questions and dogged footfalls fell quieter and quieter as there was distance put between them. She took Oliver through a few less traveled pathways, even a cut through a small garden that doubled as an outdoor study space, until they came up on a modest building adjacent to the sports gymnasium that served as the dance studio. The windows were dark, which meant Elise was right about it being empty. Even though she couldn't hear the paparazzi, she didn't want to risk them catching up in their complacency, so as soon as she skidded to a stop, she hastily reached for her fob to tap them in. The door gave a beep and Elise hurriedly tugged Oliver inside with her. |

Elise settled herself beside Oliver, her back pressed against the wall and her hand still held fast to his. She tried to even her breaths and listened for the paparazzi, but when nothing came after a few beats, she exhaled long and dramatic.
"I didn't think we'd be able to lose them so easily." She said, reaching up with her free hand to dab at her temple where a bit of sweat had beaded. |

| Oliver took his mask off with a big exhale and let it hang from one ear. "Well, with Miss Cross Country leading the way, I knew we would." He teased, squeezing her hand gently. |

| "Miss Cross Country might need to whoop you into shape. I practically had to drag you the whole way." Elise joked back, pushing away from the wall so she could sidestep to stand in front of Oliver. She kept one hand still tucked in Oliver's and used the other to press against his chest to feel the fluttering of his heart under her palm. "See? You must need more cardio in your workout regimen." She teased with a scrunch of her nose. |

| Oliver gave a fake gasp of indignation. "Are you calling me, Pop Star Legend O-Li-Ver, lazy?" He asked jokingly as he started to back her towards the wall again playfully. |
