Elise smiled, the way Oliver’s gaze softened on her did not go unnoticed. She nodded.

“I know.” She assured him.

Oliver smiled warmly and glanced down at his food. "Ah.. um.. we should eat." he laughed some. "We gotta go scope out that record store you wanted to go by."

“Mm, please. Though…I do have one more question,” Elise began, her smile turning cheeky now that the crisis had been averted. “Is she the kind of girl you’re into? Physically, I mean.”

Oliver paused and then got a small little cheeky smile of his own, looking at her again. "Y'know... recently, I've only really figured out what kinda girl I'm into."

Elise felt her heart give a hopeful leap, but she tried to keep that hope from showing on her face. After all, what if he didn’t like her the same way she liked him?

Elise’s cheeks went warm, her playfully teasing smile threatening to turn into something genuinely pleased.

He liked her.

“Y-ya, good luck. I hear girls like that are only into idols who have silly American accents of their own.” She said.

Oliver's eyes brightened, excited... and hopeful. "O-oh, ya? Do girls like that maybe.. wanna go for a date this Friday?"

Elise broke her facade in full then, a wide and bright smile splitting her face, her softly turned nose crinkling with it.

"I think they-I mean- I think I could be available to go on a date on Friday." She said, pleased laughter lilting her words.

"Games and dinner?" Elise reached over to playfully swat at Oliver's shoulder. "You spoil me, Oppa." She clucked her tongue and teased.

Oliver was waiting at the agreed meeting spot for his and Elise's date, a pair of sunglasses on with his usual mask to try and hide a little as per usual. He was fidgeting with his hair, which he had opted to do a casual slick back with. He was excited and nervous, hoping this whole dinner and arcade date went as well as he was really hoping.

He really really liked Elise and he wanted this all to impress her and go off without a hitch. He wanted her to like him just as much as she liked her and he was positive his band mates were sick of hearing him go over and over the plans with them all since the first day they planned it.

Elise, much like Oliver, was an excited bundle of nerves as she made her way down the street to their meeting spot. She hadn’t ever been on a real date, at least not one that wasn’t two equally awkward twelve year olds holding hands in a PG-13 movie they DEFINITELY didn’t sneak into. In truth, not many boys or men had even attempted to ask her out whether it was because they knew her brothers were famous OR because they knew her brothers were also protective. Either way, it wasn’t something she thought she was missing out on until now. She wished she had had some sort of experience, she wanted desperately for Oliver to have a good time and to like her at the end of it.

She wanted this to go well.

They were supposed to link up in Hongdae and go to their destinations together, dinner and an arcade as suggested, mostly because it would be less inconspicuous for two “kids” their age to be out and about together. There were plenty of young crowds outside bars and restaurants, all of which were a far cry from the ritzy restaurants in Seoul proper. That was another aspect of the location that worked well in their favor, after all, why would a celebrity like Oliver go to haunts like that?

Elise paused at a closed record shop and took a moment to look at her reflection, smoothing out her hair and adjusting the shirt straps on her shoulders. Her brother had hollered at her as she left the house to bring a sweater, but she thought she would be mostly fine and if she wasn’t…she secretly hoped Oliver would give her his jacket.
