Oliver pulled a face but grinned and went to go get into line finally.

Ji-yoo was a pretty girl, of typical Korean standards of a up and coming young actress. She was fit and slender with long legs and dark hair and eyes. But underneath all that prettiness was quite the ugly personality. Oliver at the time hadn't known that when they had dated and fell into her trap perfectly.

And to say she was pissed to see that Oliver was not easily vulnerable to fall into that trap again? Well, it would be an understatement. She had seen Oliver and Elise a few times on the street but figured it was just some fling but seeing them together still? And seeing how they were interacting with each other from her spot in a booth near by... well, it just rubbed her the wrong way.

Oliver was her little play thing when she was bored, not this new girls. She had heard down the grapevine that the girl was some sister of two big time drama actors but that wasn't enough to deter her either. She waited for them to separate and then got up from her booth with her drink, going to head to Elise.

Elise found an empty booth and flopped herself down. She took the seat facing the entrance of the shop so that Oliver could have his back to the door, offering him a hair more privacy than the booth by itself could provide. In truth, a lot of their outings required forethought like that, making sure to plan things so that Oliver wasn't immediately recognized so they could enjoy their time together like normal people, but Elise never minded. She was always happy to give Oliver her baseball cap in a pinch, take their meals in more nondescript restaurants, or even just spend time in the back of Soo-Mi unni's plant shop when it was slow. It was all about getting to spend time with Oliver because she liked spending that time with him.

She liked him.

She reached up to take off her cap and let down her hair, raking fingers through the long dark waves to free up the strands. From the corner of her eye she thought she saw someone walking over towards her, but surely she was mistaken.

"I'm sorry, excuse me?" Ji-yoo approached her, giving a little bow. "Are you Elise?"

Elise did a doubletake when she realized someone was in fact approaching the table and apparently knew her by name. She blinked and looked up at the girl. She looked a little familiar, Elise thought. Maybe she went to the same campus? Or maybe she was someone who knew her brothers? She wasn't quite sure.

"Oh, uh, yes. I am." Elise said, brows furrowing slightly. "I'm sorry, I hope I don't sound rude, but do I know you?" She asked.

Ji-yoo smiled a little. "I'm sorry, I know Oliver and some of my friends know your brothers."

"Oh, ah, that makes sense." Elise let out a little relieved laugh and nodded her head.

Ji-yoo made herself look hesitant. "Can... I talk to you just for a moment?"

Elise pinched her brows at the shift in the girl's demeanor and glanced passed her at Oliver still in line.

"Uh...sure." She said, hesitant herself as she gestured to the spot across from her.

Ji-yoo took the seat quickly. "Listen, I uh... I just wanted to give you a heads up, girl to girl... Oliver and I used to date in the past and I don't want you to fall into the same problems I did... with him."

Elise's brows tightened further.

"Problems? What problems?" She asked. She knew from her both of her brothers some of Oliver's "history", but it felt like what they had told her was probably blown out of proportion in the way older brothers warning their younger sisters about boys tended to be.

"When we first got together, Oliver love bombed me. Compliments, gifts, affection, paying for everything, you name it... and then as he got more famous, he started... well, he got into drugs." She looked sad. "And partying, a lot. And it all became my fault if anything about it made it to the media or if he got in trouble at all..."

Elise felt her heart drop. The person the girl across from her was explaining...that didn't sound like Oliver. Sure, the Oliver she knew complimented her often and paid for things, but love bombing? Moreover, drugs? In the entire time she had known Oliver she hadn't once been suspicious that he had that kind of wild side, in fact, beyond the occasional PR party or entertainment premier, she knew Oliver to be the type who liked to spend the evening in his own apartment. Most of the time, they were on the phone with one another even.

"I, um, I'm sorry that you had that experience, but...he's not like that. At least not now." Elise explained.

Ji-yoo waved her hands in a apologetic innocent matter. "I'm sorry, I know this is a lot and very sudden. And you don't have to believe me. I just... I would have felt awful if I just stood by and didn’t say anything. Because he was nothing like that with me at first either. I was completely blindsided."

"Right...well, thank you for the information, but I think I'll manage. Like I said, Oliver oppa isn't like that." Elise explained.

Ji-yoo gave a fake but sweet smile. "I hope that stays true. Have a good day." She went to get up and bowed again before turning promptly to leave. She caught Oliver's eye as she walked past him, as he was carrying their stuff over and he visibly tensed.
