He looked up when his number was called and he stepped over to the counter to grab the bags filled to the brim with still steaming fish and chips boxes. He returned to Meara and gestured to her bag. "Are you heading home? I can carry those for you." He offered. |

| “Oh, I was raised by my dad and his wife, my mom, but I’m not her biological kid. My biological mom’s family and I stayed in contact though.” Declan explained. Though his birth story was unconventional, he was never ashamed of it and was never fazed by having to explain it. It simply was. |
