It'd only been a week since everything happened with Kasper and Lawson, but it had almost felt like an entire lifetime to Griffith.
He, Harper, and Darcy all went back to his family home. Griffith so he could lay his brother to rest with his family, and the Hunt siblings so Griffith could keep a watchful eye on them as he was sure Kasper would be back for them as a result of their "betrayal". And though it was a terribly tense week back at the Fitz home, Griffith was much more comfortable knowing that Harper and their babies were safe.
However, after they'd laid Lawson to rest and other arrangements could be made regarding Dixon and Coco's moving, they made their own arrangements to come back to the Hunt siblings' home and, man, Griffith was surprisingly grateful.
He and Darcy had come back to clean up the place a few days prior to the return, so, thankfully, when Griffith came into the house, hauling a bag of his own clothes and a few other personal items as well as Harper's bag for her, he was simply relieved to be...well...home.
He dumped his bag on the floor beside one of the chairs in the living room and gave a sigh.
"I never thought I could feel so grateful to be back here." He admitted. |

| "Gee, thanks..." Harper chuckled a bit as she glanced up at him after walking in behind him, rubbing at her ever growing stomach. "I'm just grateful to go sit down." she huffed and went to go sit. |

| "At least you're all healthy, innit?" Griffith said, taking Harper over to the couch and helping her down. He crouched down and tapped at her leg, gesturing for her to lift it so he could take off her shoes for her. "My big healthy babies." |

He couldn't help but grin at the movement. "I guess it's only a little bit longer for them to get here, I suppose I can wait to find out what they are." |
