Faye hummed to herself as she unpacked the final box from her and Ricardo moving into a new house. Ricardo had up and decided that it was time they moved in together since they were "pretty serious" in their relationship and while Faye was very reluctant to give up her own place, the small piece of independence she had, she was pleased that he was serious about their relationship and wanting to be with her.

Even if he was... well... overwhelming at times. Wanting to know who was she was talking to all the time and where she was going and telling her when she needed to be home. She took it as him just being protective at times but other times... well, other times he struggled with his temper and he had left a few bruises sometimes but grabbing her too hard during an argument but they had talked about it and he had been so sweet afterwards.

She blamed his anger on the only thing she could think of. That gang he lead all the time, where he was all day besides his casual day job. She hadn't known about it at first but she knew about it now and while she didn't approve, especially since they came over one celebrating some big hit or something and drunk because of it, she was the leaders gal and she couldn't just ignore it. The guys were over all the time at Ricardo's old place and she imagined they'd be here too sometimes, now.

It was a nice little place and she couldn't understand why anyone would willingly give this place up. It was very comforting and cute and she was very content with it.

Faye finished putting up their glasses before turning to head into the living room, crossing through the hallway but paused to watch her boyfriend. Ricardo was working on a stubborn radiator, obviously getting irritated with it. Faye gave a little smile and went over, wrapping her arms around him from behind. "Need some help?" she murmured.

"No. You finished up in the kitchen?" Ricardo grunted, trying to pull away from the affection so he could focus.

Rudy had always hated the prospect of "roommates". Even when he lived with his best friend, Gideon, for that brief stint he had come to hate it. He hated having to share his space, having to share responsibilities, and having to share his food (although, did it constitute as "sharing" when his food was constantly being stolen?). So one could imagine his displeasure when he realized he was getting not one, but two new roommates.

Although, when he wondered if his previous concerns really mattered now that he was...well...dead.

Rudy watched with a bitter grimace as he watched a couple get situated in his house, the one he'd worked hard to save money for. Surely, they would never appreciate it as much as he did when he was alive, especially not the guy. He looked like someone Rudy would hire as a goon, to be frank...not to mention he looked familiar too.

The girl, however, looked like maybe she would appreciate it a little more than her galoot of a boyfriend. But then again, Rudy questioned her level of dependability considering she apparently made the conscious decision to be with that guy.

Rudy sighed as he came to a floating perch on the kitchen counter's edge, watching the twosome in the other room.

"Watch them just ruin this place." He grumbled.

Faye sighed at being pushed away. "Well, um, do you need anything?"

"Can y'grab me a beer, babe?" Ricardo asked with a tired sigh as he stood up.

Faye made a face but turned to go back to the kitchen. "Yeah, sure."

"Thanks, doll." he reached to smack her on the ass with a squeeze. Faye yelped and swatted at his arm with a grimace before hurrying to the other room.

"Tch, prude." he muttered to himself, scowling at the radiator and gave it a little kick.

Rudy grimaced at the interaction.

"Whatta pig." He mumbled as he watched the girl skitter into the kitchen for refuge.

Ricardo glanced over his shoulder when he thought he heard something but shook his head and his attention was distracted when his phone went off. He grabbed it up, answering. "'Ey, Kevin. What's- no, listen, we ain't doing anything else big until everything's cooled down from that last hit."

Rudy furrowed his brow upon hearing bits and pieces of the guy's phone call. Last hit? What, was this guy gang? Not that Rudy could judge. After all, in his life, that's what he did.

"Small world." Rudy said quietly before he turned his attention back to the girl.

"I don't care if he was just a kid, I don't want anymore attention on us right now.." Ricardo said, voice trailing off as he went to another room.

Faye put the bottle of beer on a counter, rubbing at her face with a sigh. She really hated these moods of Ricardo. She glanced over her shoulder, listening to him leave to another room and decided to delay the beer retrieval.

She hummed to herself and went over to the window over the sink, pulling the little curtains open. "Maybe a little spice garden here.." she murmured to herself as she grabbed a sponge from the sink before going over beside where Rudy was perched, pushing her hair out of her face before going to clean the counter top.

"Spice garden? This spot doesn't get nearly enough sun in the afternoon for that to work." Rudy scoffed as he watched the girl edge closer towards him, not that it mattered anyway, he supposed.

"Huh? How do-" Faye started, thinking it was Ricardo but paused when she turned around and saw no one. "...Weird."

Rudy blinked.

"Are you...hearing me?" He asked, although, he didn't REALLY anticipate an answer from the girl.

Faye turned her head towards Rudy just slightly when she heard a faint noise again, brows furrowing. "Hmph. Need some noise." she said, sounding a little uneasy and went to go turn the little radio she had set up, on.

Rudy's eyes widened in surprised. This was a first since he'd been dead.

When he first died, his gang held a service at the house and the whole time, Rudy felt as if he'd be better off just yelling at a wall with the way no one could hear him. When they decided to sell the house...that just drove him to even further desperation.

"Wait, woah, woah, woah! You can hear me! Well...sorta." Rudy said, floating after the girl.

Faye gave a slight uneasy shiver and reached up to pull her hair into a tiny bun before turning to look towards the noise again, looking directly at Rudy. Or well, through him. "Okay, Faye, it's been a long few days.. you're just... sleep deprived."

"Nonono, not sleep deprived, I'm here!" Rudy said, or rather yelled. As he leaned closer to the radio, he could hear his own voice coming through, albeit vaguely.

Faye jumped, spinning to look at the radio, fingers lacing together nervously. "U-Um.." she sputtered. She had to admit, she believed (or wanted to believe they were real) in the supernatural, ghosts, vampires, so forth. Maybe that was the little dreamer girl inside of her but now that something weird was actually going on, it was pretty terrifying.
