Digby followed after his twin, crouching down by the door and quietly pressing his ear to the doorframe to listen in.
Inside, Griffith had made his way over to his desk, pulling around his chair to face Benny as he took a seat on the couch across the room.
"So...you came to talk, Ben?" Griffith asked, almost as doubtful as his wife sounded earlier.
"Yeah, although, maybe I should have called before if your wife was any indication." Benny chuckled. |

"Alright...so talk." Griffith said, leaning back in his seat. "But let's be clear, Harper's right, I'm not going back to work with you guys, I'm done."
Benny gave a little shrug.
"Suit yourself, Griff, but, I mean...there's a job we've got, easy money, quick, painless and I thought I'd offer it to you first considering your family and everything." Benny said.
"So...you did come here for work? You lied to me and Harper?" Griff said, although, he didn't sound very surprised. |

But I PROMISE, Griff, I wouldn't have even brought it to you if I didn't think it was a no danger sort of thing." Benny explained. "I know you don't want in deep because of your family, but this is about as shallow and basic job as jobs go."
"Benny...I told my wife I was done and I honor that word." Griffith sighed. |

| Lowell frowned, listening in even more. While he absolutely didn't want his Dad going off again and risking getting hurt just simply because of his injury, maybe.. he, or even him and Digby, could do it if it was so basic and shallow. |
