Benny pressed his hand firmly against the gash in Darcy's middle, eyes wide and a bit panicked.
"G-Griff! Griff! We need to get him to Lettie!" Benny sputtered.
Griffith spun to look down at Darcy, sinking to his knees beside his brother-in-law.
"F-fuck, fuck. Oh god." He sputtered, staring at the wound and then looking to Darcy's face. "Darce, I need you to fucking hold tight, buddy. Max, pull the truck up!" He called over his shoulder. Without missing a beat, a truck had been driven through a section of the chainlink fence around the play area and was heading towards them. |

| Darcy gave another yell of pain at the pressure being put against his wound and held onto Griffith's arm tightly, giving a sob of pain. "FU-FUCK." he whined, tasting a bit of iron in his mouth. "F-fuck, a-a-are Coco and Ha..Hales 'kay?" he sputtered with effort. |

Griffith placed his hand over Darcy's giving it a firm squeeze. "We're gonna get you to Lettie, she's going to fix you right up. You just need to hold on, okay?" |

"You're gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay." Griffith assured as he poised to get Darcy off the ground with the help from a few pack members.
They hefted him into the bed of the truck and someone had pulled out a sweater from the back seat of the cab and handed it to Benny to put over the wound. Griffht hopped into the back of the truck as well while everyone else piled into the cab before Max sped them off out of the park area. |

| Darcy tried to keep his attention on Griffith and keep his eyes open but the more blood he lost, the more his eyes drooped and rolled and his head rolled from side to side a bit. |

"We're almost there, just a few more minutes, Darce." Griffith sputtered, jerking when the truck took a sharp turn up the driveway to the house. Lettie was already outside, hovering at the door waiting for them to bring Darcy in.
Nick parked the truck and just like before, everyone gathered to help haul him out and towards the front door.
"Kitchen table." Lettie instructed, hurrying everyone along.
Griffith went to follow, but another car came whipping in and he could hear Coco frantically sobbing as she emerged from the vehicle, which stopped him in his steps. He turned to see his sister running towards the house with Haleigh.
"I-Is he hurt? Is he okay? D-Darcy!" Coco sobbed, though she already knew the answer. She could feel him drifting further and further away from him amidst a haze of pain. |
