The week was proceeding right along and it was finally Thursday, the day of Victoria's appointment. While she had insisted to Harlow that she was fine, that this was a little flu hitting hard, she was admittedly becoming a little worried after having read through a few online articles. But still...there was a chance it was nothing still right?
Right?
Vic's mom was supposed to come pick her up later on in the afternoon, which gave Vic plenty of time to groom even after having vomited nonstop all morning. She opted for a bath, as she had been suffering dizzy spells here and there and didn't want to collapse in the shower, however, it seemed pointless as she began rising out of the tub to get ready.
"Ugh....this is...dumb..." She mumbled, her head fuzzy as she struggled to clamber to her feet. She managed to pull herself upright, however, as soon as it came to stepping over the edge of the tub, she lost all balance and consciousness all at once as she hit the floor with a little thud and a groan. |

Harlow headed up to Victoria's house's door, his backpack thrown over his shoulder with one hand. It was lunch break (because he promised, no more missing school) and he wanted to at least check on Victoria before he had to hurry back to school.
He knocked lightly on the front door, waiting and straining to hear for Victoria calling to him to say she was coming to get the door or if he should come in and frowned when he was met with silence. Uncertain if it was just that or if it was, you know, him, he opened the door and poked his head in. "Vic? It's Harlow." he called, reluctantly. He wasn't in much of a talking mood.
He frowned again when he was met with silence and went to head inside to see if she was okay. He had checked in just a little while ago to make sure she was home and alright and she'd said she was going to get a bath before her doctors appointment.
And really, he wanted to comfort her that everything would be fine before she had to go. He headed to the bathroom to see if she was throwing up again or if she was still in the bath and just couldn't hear him, knocking gently on the bathroom door next. "Vic?" |

| Vic thought she could hear Harlow in a disoriented haze, but when she tried calling out to him, all she could get out was a small cry, hardly even notable. |

| Harlow furrowed his brows and went to open the door, uncertainly. "Victoria.. babe, you in here?" he asked, pushing the door open enough to peer in, hoping he wasn't invading but..of course, he was worried. It took him a moment to spot her on the ground, eyes shooting open wide and he went to rush in. "F-fuck, Vic!" he sputtered, hurrying down onto the ground by her. |

| Harlow held her head in his lap as he called 911 and shakily explained the situation, grabbing a robe from the back of the bathroom door with a few tugs and put it over Vic, since in the back of his mind, he knew she'd be horrified otherwise because of how shy she was. |

| Vic tried to thank Harlow, but upon hearing herself, she realized she only let out a few "gracious" mumbles, hardly audible for anyone, much less Harlow. |
