"She recently came to our offices and has expressed to us that she felt that she was unable to take care of the baby. Apparently the biological father is not involved and does not wish to be involved and, well, Bethany is not in a place to care for the child." |

| Lowell put the phone back on the handle and reached up to scrub his face with his hands. "....Jesus." he whispered to himself, sighing as he pushed off the wall and headed for the kitchen. |

"Next time Da will have you chopping up all the vegetables and I'll do all the washing." He suggested playfully before looking over his shoulder as Lowell entered the kitchen. "Hey, so, what was that about?" He asked, curious. |
