Lowell tapped his pencil against his desk as he listened to his honours science teacher ramble on and on about something which Lowell had decided he already knew well enough to not have to listen in too closely.
He looked out the window beside him, feeling absolutely bored out of his mind as he watched a squirrel dash from his tree and back down, over and over doing.. whatever the fuck squirrels did.
He jumped however when he heard his name in the school intercom, calling for him to go to the principals office. He flushed and gave everyone his topnotch bitch face as he got up, wondering what the fuck Digby had done now to get HIM in trouble.
"God sake, I'll kill him." Lowell muttered to himself as he left the class after shoving everything in his backpack and went to rush to the principal's office. |

Rhys Moloney was slumped in the seat in front of the principal's desk, eyeing the various diplomas and other documents behind the balding man's head. He wondered if he put them up to flaunt them as some sort of compensation because...certainly, he wasn't that impressive looking. He was somewhat short and fat, then again...that was the American standard wasn't it?
He was not looking forward to this new life abroad, away from his home in Ireland, away from his mam.
He shifted his gaze back to the principal when he heard him sigh, or rather, wheeze.
"Mister Fitz should be right with us." He said nodding.
"Fitz?" Rhys cocked a brow. An Irish American? Oh, this was going to be lovely. |

| Lowell spoke with the principal's assistant for a moment before going over to the principal's actual office, giving a light knock before going to step in. "Uhm, sir?" he looked confused when he saw another kid in the room as well, wondering if he WASN'T here because he was in trouble then. He reached up to smooth back his hair, reaching for the hairband on his wrist. |

"Mister Fitz, I'd like you to meet Mister Moloney. Mister Moloney is a...international transfer student." The principal gestured to Rhys then, who only then sat up right and reached over for a handshake.
"Rhys." He introduced himself, his accent dancing heavy on his words. "I'm Rhys Moloney." |

| Lowell sat up properly, eyebrows raising at the accent and he gave a wide friendly smile. "Lowell, Lowell Fitz." he greeted, shaking his hand. |

"I'll let your teachers know you'll be excused for the next hour or so. After lunch, Mister Moloney will attend class with you." The principal heaved.
Rhys glanced over at the principal and made a slight face at his atrocious grunting and what not before glancing back over at Lowell. While Rhys had long decided that the principal was...anything but special, he thought Lowell was rather nice looking. |

| Lowell held back making a face as well and nodded, going to stand up. "Well in that case, shall we go?" he asked Rhys, giving him another smile. He seemed interesting enough. |

| Lowell smirked and went to lead Rhys out, grabbing up his bag as he went. "Sucks that the principal is the first impression you get of the school." Lowell said once they were out of earshot. |
