Tessa gave a little jolt, almost as if she'd been unaware of Lowell until then. She blinked and looked over, her swinging ceasing as Lowell grabbed her shoulder.
"Oh...are we....leaving?" She asked.

"N-no! No!" Charlotte shook her head firmly and reached out to grab Harlow's shirt, trying to cling to him. "P-please...Bubby...Bubby." |

| Lowell tucked her close, arm around her shoulders and went to lead her back around to the front of the house, grimacing when he saw the scene with Harlow and Charlotte. "We'd better head out quick." he sighed. |

Charlotte looked up to Lowell when she heard that and she began thrashing in Darcy's arms, frantically trying to get away.
"N-no! Do-doooon't!" She cried hysterically. "I'll be good! D-don't go!"
Tessa winced while Digby guiltily looked away. |

Darcy grimaced, doing his best to hold onto her and make sure she didn't fall and get hurt. "Char, Charlotte, honey."
Harlow took a deep breath and signed that he loved her again before going to force himself into the truck, not wanting to break down. She had to stay here, where it was safe. Well.. safer.
"Charlotte.." Lowell grimaced, reaching over to kiss her forehead. |

Digby forced himself over and reached to grab Charlotte's hands, squeezing them tight before leaning in to place a kiss to Charlotte's temple.
Tessa stepped over after and steeled herself to reach over and cup Charlotte's face lightly.
"I love you, honey, I love you, sissy. I'm...we're gonna come back real soon." She said to her, leaning in to place a kiss to Charlotte's cheek despite all her screaming and wiggling. |

Darcy took a shaky breath as he looked over at Coco, swallowing hard and jaw clenching tightly before he looked back at the three, Harlow already in the truck and most likely breaking down crying. "Guys... please.. don't do this. This isn't-"
"Uncle Darcy, we're doing this. We're ending this." Lowell said suddenly, firm and stern. Like an adult. "I'm sorry. But our decision is final." |

Coco noted Darcy's begging and Lowell's firm answer, even through the closed door of the car. She quickly emerged from the car then.
"L-Lolo, Dig, Tessy, p-please, please." She sputtered, hurrying over to Darcy's side. |

Lowell grimaced and took a step back for the truck, motioning for the others to go pile in. "Auntie Coco, we'll be back for Coco's first day at school, okay? Maybe before." he said, still firm about it all.

Lowell turned sharply to go get in the truck, grimacing at Charlotte's begging. |
