| Darcy looked almost terrified- excited but terrified as well. He got situated with the nurses help before going over to Coco, blinking dazedly. |

Coco looked a bit frazzled and frightened as the nurses geared up and helped her get situated. She looked to Darcy as he came back over and she quickly reached for him, her hand shaking.
"D-Darce, I don't know if i'm ready...I don't know." She whimpered, suddenly very much afraid. |

| Darcy held onto her hand and kissed it firmly. "Baby, you've.. you've got this. You do. You're so so so strong. You've got this, baby." he crooned. |

Coco looked up at Darcy, eyes watering and still feeling very nervous, and managed a nod.
"O-Okay...okay." She said.
"Alright, Coco," the doctor began, getting himself in place, "on that next contraction, I'm going to need you to give us a nice big push, alright?"
Coco took a deep breath and mustered a nod for the doctor, clinging onto Darcy's hand tightly as she readied herself.

While in all actuality, a great deal of time had passed since Coco started the great papoose push, it had felt like all time had flown as far as Coco was concerned. For her, it felt as if she had just started pushing and now...
"Congratulations, Coco, Darcy! Congrats!" The doctor hollered over the loud squalling of Coco and Darcy's baby.
Coco flopped back against the bed, tears welling up in her eyes as a blanket was haphazardly draped over her chest and her rather hefty baby was flopped onto her chest in all her pinkie glory.
"It's a girl! Congratulations, Mom and Dad!" A nurse grinned as she reached over to drape part of the blanket over the still wailing baby.
Coco felt her heart soar as she looked down at the baby, taking in every last detail about her. She memorized the curve of her nose, the roundness of her cheeks, the light blue of her eyes, and every last line in her skin. She reached up with a quaking hand to gently touch at the back of the baby's head, her fingers brushing into a soft little patch of dark hair.
"O-Oh...m-my baby...my baby, hello my sweet baby...hello." Coco half-laughed, half-cried. |

| Darcy watched Coco and their little baby girl as she was handed to Coco, giving a shaky teary laugh as he watched. "B-baby, you d-did so good, you d-did so good, she's s-so beautiful!" |

| "H-hi baby...hello...I love you, I love you." Coco smiled as the baby's wailing turned to quiet little simpers, apparently having settled into Coco's chest. Coco gave a light laugh and looked up at Darcy. "Baby...baby, she's here." She smiled. |

The baby quickly stopped with her whining even when Darcy reached out to touch at her hair. She instead went quiet, the only sound being that of her breathing, as she gently wiggled against Coco.
"Our sweet girl...our little love." Coco cooed, craning her head down to kiss at the baby's forehead. "Momma loves you...Daddy loves you, too." |

Coco sniffled a bit herself and looked down at their baby, who looked as if she were just as tired as Coco with her eyes drifting shut. Coco gave a light little laugh and went to cover her up a bit, gently rubbing at her back to keep her warm.
"I-I don't really know...I liked the name Mackenzie, for my dad, but she doesn't really look like a Mackenzie." She said. |
