Griffith's smile didn't falter for a single moment as he sat with his cheek nestled in Harper's palm, their faces touching and almost touching at any given point. Sometimes, he'd pull away just enough to kiss somewhere new at her face, other times, he'd just rest their foreheads, noses, or even cheeks together. They schmoozed until Dixon voiced his "disgust" again and scooted passed them, following after Darcy.
"I think your corner of the room would be perfect since there's that window right there. I bet she'd LOVE that!" Dixon said. |

Harper happily sat with him quietly, her smile never faltering either as she cuddled him and just sat with him, her heart feeling so impossibly full. "Mmm, we have a bathtub date, mister."
"Yeah! And it's got a screen so we could open it for her so she's got fresh air and stuff too." he said, heading into the room. |

"Indeed we do." Griffith said, nuzzling at Harper's cheek gently. "Why don't you go get that set up, I'll put everything away and fill the sink for later?" He offered.
"Yeah, we can put her cat tower by the window so she can enjoy that and then we can just put her bed by yours, I mean, since you found her and all." Dixon said, only pausing for a moment to grab Momma Cat's things Griffith had set down in the living room. He carried those towards the room and followed in after Darcy. |

"Yeah and maybe her food bowl by the tree or something." Darcy said, heading into the room and turning on the light.
Harper hummed a little and nuzzled in return. "Will do." she said, going to pull away so she could get up. |

"Sounds good. Did you guys get her toys?" Dixon asked, trying to look into where everything had been nestled away in one of the compartments of the cat tree. "If not, we should go get her some tomorrow."
Griffith smiled and pulled away himself. He stood up and grabbed his and Harper's plates from the table. He cleaned them off before tossing them in the sink and made quick work of cleaning up and putting everything away. He was tired and wanted nothing more to take that bath with Harper, relax his achy muscles, and then get in bed. |

"Yeah, I got her a toy catnip mouse or something like that." Darcy said, going over to check on Momma Cat, who was just snoozing away. "She'll need more though, maybe like one of those sticks with the feathers on a string or something."
Harper went to the bathroom to get everything set up for their bath. |

"We can go do that tomorrow if Griff doesn't have us slaving around the shop." Dixon grinned as he hurriedly made his way over to the aforementioned corner, dropping everything there before going to take a peek at the cat.
Griffith put everything in the sink to soak and packaged all the leftover food up, which he already planned to snack on tomorrow for lunch maybe, before heading upstairs. He could already hear the water running in the bathroom adjoined to his and Harper's room. Barely halfway up the stairs, he already proceeded to strip himself of his shirt. |

Momma Cat had sprawled out on her side, very content to sleep somewhere warm and safe.
"She looks happy already, huh?" Darcy said quietly with a grin.
Harper was sitting on the edge of the tub to undress, talking quietly to the babies as she felt them move slightly and occasionally. |

"She does...I bet you she was waiting for someone like you to come love her up." Dixon said, reaching out to give Momma Cat one gentle pat over the length of her back.
Upon entering the room, Griffith tossed his shirt in his and Harper's laundry basket and made his way to the bathroom, poking his head in when he heard Harper talking to her belly. He grinned her way and slipped into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
"They still causing a fuss?" He asked, shucking off his pants as he strode across the tiled floor. |

"You think so?" Darcy grinned a little and watched as Momma Cat picked up her head with a little 'mrr?' at being touched.
"Oh yeah, they're definitely awake." Harper laughed. "Help me with this pants leg please?" |

"Definitely." Dixon grinned at Momma Cat. He crooked his finger under her chin and gave her some gentle scratches before taking his hand back and turning back to the pile of her things he'd set down. "Let's start on this so she has her own bed to sleep in tonight, yeah?"
Griffith chuckled and nodded, crouching down to help Harper ease out of her pants. As soon as he got them off, he neatly folded them and set them on top of his jeans, which sat in a small crumpled heap. He reached out to give her belly a pet and a kiss before standing up.
"Well, I say we get them to relax for bed with this bath." He said. |

"You know, we'll probably have to set up somewhere for her to have her babies before too long." Dixon said as he sat down on the floor, taking things out of the cat tree's compartment and spreading them out in front of him.
"Well, get in, get in." Griffith chuckled, waving his hands in a "shooing" motion. Meanwhile, he removed his boxer briefs and waited for Harper to get settled. |

"Yeah, probably. The vet said she's like a month and a half along. She felt four babies." Darcy grinned, looking at him.
Harper shook her head and finished getting undressed too before going to get into the tub very carefully. |

"Four of 'em?" Dixon's face lit up and he looked over at Momma Cat. "You done did good, Momma."
Griffith waited for Harper to get settled before he stepped into the tub behind her and sank in. As soon as he was seated, he adjusted himself to lean back while coaxing Harper to lean back against him. Both of his hands cupped at her belly, his thumbs drawing idle circles. Beneath his palms, he could still feel the babies' fluttering.
"This feels so nice, Harp." He let out a contented sigh, closing his eyes as he tilted his head back. |
