Ever since first bumping into one another in the library, Dixon and Darcy had become close, so much so, it wasn't all that often you'd see one without the other, in or out of school. And while hanging out during school hours was easy, doing so outside of school was pretty tricky given their relationships with the gang world. Sure, Darcy had come over to the Fitz house a few times to hang out with Dixie, however, that was mostly because no one was really aware of Darcy's relationship with Kasper beyond Griffith. However... everyone knew the Fitz brothers and although Dixon wasn't apart of the gang world, everyone knew of him, and most presumed it would be just a matter of time before he became just as lethal as his brothers.

Although, most would probably change their mind when they saw gangly, blond Dixon Fitz, bouncing through a game of hopscotch as he cut through the park to get home.

While most of the city was broken up into various turfs, the park, as well as Peace Piper's, were "safe zones" for the most part. The park was simply a place for anyone to hang out at, or for anyone to conduct business, which, Dixon's only business right now, was getting home before it got too dark and Lawson sent Griff looking for him.

Admittedly, Kasper didn't go to the park looking for trouble. He knew what was "safe zones" but the park had its moments and Kasper had been restless. He had been by Ryan's grave with his mother earlier that day and he was itching for something.

So how perfect was it that Lawson Fitz little brother was walking through the park too? He followed him once he spotted him, hands shoved in his pockets and jogged to catch up, being quiet. "Hey, kid."

Dixon gave a jolt as he almost instantaneously recognized Kasper's voice. Of course, there had been a few occasions where Kasper approached the Fitz boys while Dixon was with them, so Dixon knew full well who he was, moreover, he knew that Kasper knew who he was. He almost didn't want to turn around to face him, after all, it could only be bad that he was being approached, but if it was one thing he learned from watching his brothers, it was you never run.

He swallowed an anxious knot in his throat and slowly turned around to face Kasper.

Jesus...he was big.

"U-uh, listen...I don't....I don't want any trouble or nothin'." He said, more than just a bit anxious.

"It's reallllly dumb walkin' around on your own with your face, you know that?" Kasper raised his eyebrow with a snide smirk, heading up to him.

"I-I, look, the park is supposed to be neutral, I just....I'm just waklin' home." Dixon sputtered, fumbling back as he tried to backpedal away from Kasper's approach.

Kasper snatched a hand out and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, yanking him forward. "Oh come on, stay, lets catch up!"

Dixon immediately let out a panicked yelp and fumbled with trembling hands to grab at Kasper's meaty paws. Frightened tears pricked at his eyes as he vehemently shook his head.

"Please, please, please, I-I just want to go home!" He sputtered, clawing at Kasper's hands in an attempt to free himself.

Kasper scoffed and backhanded Dixon hard. "You're a real puss compared to your brothers, ain't ya?"

Dixon let out a small yelp as his face was struck, he could feel his glasses being knocked from his face and onto the ground. Still, without them, he tried to "look" at Kasper, eyes pleading.

"Please, just let me go, I promise, I won't come back here." He tried to plead.

"Hmmm, nah." Kasper smacked him again on the other side, chuckling. "Never would've thought a Fitz would be such a fucking wuss."

Dixon decided his begging was wasted and bit down hard on his lip to keep from letting out audible cries as Kasper smacked him again.

While Dixon frequently complained about his brothers not letting him get involved in the gang, the truth of the matter was...he wasn't cut out for it. While his brothers were both "men's men" with fire in their bellies and a certain fighting resilience, Dixon was, well, significantly softer. And both of his older brothers had their helping hand in allowing him to be so. They both had always made sure he never had to fight like them, made sure he never had to resort to the things they did. This was both a good and bad thing, an especially bad thing right then and there.

Dixon feebly pried at Kasper's hands as he was shaken.

"Please..." He said quietly, trying to blink back his tears.

Kasper scoffed and threw a punch into his stomach, though not at his fullest strength. He wanted to rough the kid up, scare him and send him home to Lawson, not snap him in half after all.

Dixon gave a winded gasp as the air was knocked out of him. He spluttered for breath through wheezes and coughs as he further continued to pry at Kasper's hands.
