Rory and Heather both caught the little face made, though Rory tried to just.. not let that get to her. She glanced down, messing with her fingers as well. "It'd just be easier on the kids."
Heather sighed heavily, rubbing at her forehead. |

| "I make more than enough to support us, and after Rory's done with maternity leave, we'll have plenty of income. Plus...I don't want to miss out on anything. I want to be the one to carry the carseat into the house, I want to be there every night to get up and be with the baby, just little things like that, I don't want to miss them." |

Elliot felt a bit confused as to what Heather was talking about and what Rory didn't want to talk about, but upon hearing Heather's half-hearted approval he mustered a small smile.

He mustered a smile and then looked to Dallas, going to collect him up. "Um, I think me and Dally are going to head out then, for now. I was hoping to take him to that discovery center before it got too late in the day. But I'll talk to you soon, Ror, Mam." |

| "We always are." Elliot said, stretching into the hug with Dallas cradled between them. He looked to Rory, giving her a smile a bit more warm before moving to grab Dallas's hand to force a little wave. "Say bye to your mam. We'll see her soon." |
