"How're we doing today?" Dr. Monroe asked them both, heading over to look at the little chart that the nurse had quickly written up. "Says here you've been feeling pretty rough, Miss Hunt?"
"Mm, I am." Harper nodded a little. |

"Hmm, well, I'm sure everything is fine. Every baby grows at a different rate." Dr. Monroe reassured. "But we'll definitely see if we can do something to help you with being so uncomfortable. Have you been getting plenty of bed rest?"
"I mean.. when I can." Harper pulled a face a bit.
"Mm, well, you may need to start getting a lot more." she warned. "But before we get into that, would you two like to see your lilin'?" |

Griffith made his own face at the idea of bed rest. Of course he wanted Harper to take it easy, but considering their situation, more specifically Harper's, he knew it was a tricky deal. However, he instantly perked up at the doctor asking to see their baby.
"That would be great." He said. |

Dr. Monroe nodded and went over to the cart, going to get it all set up and then went over to Harper, helping her push her shirt up over her belly and then went to put the gel on and then the probe, going to move it around. "Lets see here..."
Harper quietly held out a hand for Griffith's, waiting. |

| Griffith hardly missed a beat when he glanced to see Harper's hand outstretched towards his. He reached out and grabbed it, giving it a squeeze as they waited. |

Harper squeezed back, taking a deep breath. Monroe moved the probe around, smiling. "There we are, there is your little one and... oh... well... that... explains that." Monroe chuckled.
"...What?" Harper looked very anxious.
"Sweetheart, you're not a mommy to one but to two little ones." she said gently. |
