As soon as Harper was in the car, he closed her door and went around to the other side to get into the driver's seat. He flopped in and fumbled with his keys before turning the car on. "I...um...we can drive a little bit, m-maybe I can...we can go get coffee, talk this over, okay?" He offered. |

"Okay, yeah." Griffith nodded as he pulled the car out of it's parking spot and off the lot.
He drove aimlessly around a few blocks, just hoping to give Harper enough time to collect herself, and eventually found his way to a little cafe on a back street. He parked the car and looked over at Harper.
"You ready?" He asked. |

| Harper nodded a little bit, having uncurled from her protective ball at some point during all of the driving. She wiped at her face once more just to make sure it was dry before going to get out of the car. "Y-Yeah, yeah, lets go." |

| Griffith nodded and climbed out of the car himself, standing at the front of the car to wait for Harper. He reached up and rubbed at his arm anxiously. |

| Harper went around to him and indicated for him to lead the way into the cafe, shoving her hands in her jeans pocket self-consciously. "I uh, I left your jacket in the car. Sorry." |

| Harper followed Griffith, arms coming up to cross over her chest defensively. She wanted to wake up from this nightmare already. She moved to sit down in a booth with him, feeling very sick to her stomach. "Fuck." she whispered, reaching to bury her face in her hands. |

A waitress came over to greet Griffith and Harper as well as take their drink orders, which Griffith placed for them since Harper seemed to be fussing all over again. He bit at his lip and added an order or oatmeal and fruit before dismissing the woman. He stared at Harper for a minute.
"So...we really need to...talk about this." He said to her. |
