After a quick trip to the store, Elliot, Rory, and Dally returned to Elliot's place and while Rory was well on her way preparing a proper Irish feast, Elliot was laid out on the floor by Dally, watching him and reciprocating little coos the baby boy threw his way.
"Yeah, oaaagh." He repeated back to the baby, smiling as he reached out to play with his hand. "You're so cute...I just love you...I love you." He crooned. |

Dallas cooed at Elliot with a large smile, patting at his hand with a giggle. Rory smiled a bit as she listened to them from the kitchen, content in her task at hand and thinking about all she had to do tomorrow.
Finish Christmas shopping, get Christmas cards out, buy the plane tickets, prepare for the entire family...
Ireland... Family...
Rory paused in cutting up some carrots, biting at her bottom lip as an idea came to her. "Hey, um.. Elliot?" she called. |

Elliot took to hefting Dally up, "flying" him overhead as he laid on the floor. He paused and rolled his head to look towards the kitchen.

"To Ireland?" Elliot cocked a brow, somewhat surprised. Sure, he always thought of Rory's mam and Stephen as family, but going to Ireland to visit her extended family...it almost felt strange.
Almost normal too though. |
