| Rory lead him down to a row of seats and went to slid in and to her seat in the middle, pulling him along with, letting go of his hand once she went to sit down. |

| Rory didn't glance over her shoulder when she heard the bell, trying to not lose her balance as she stood on tiptoes to reach. "Welcome to Dog Eared Books, let me know if you need help finding anything!" she called, lips pursing as she pushed a book into place. |

| Rory jumped at the sound of Elliot's voice and lost her footing as she tried to spin around, giving a startled noise as she started to topple from the ladder. "Elli-ah-fuck." she sputtered. |
