Griffith turned to look at Dixon, who, sure enough, had big fat tears welling up in his eyes as he raised a trembling finger after Harper.

"G-G-Griff, l-l-let her clean it u-u-up." He sniveled pleadingly, which Griffith responded hastily with a wave of his hand, as if trying to assure it was nothing, however, it only earned a louder wail.

"I...hey, wait, wait, wait, you're right, uh...can...you...help me?" Griffith flushed as he called after the girl.

Harper raised her eyebrows as she heard him and turned to look at him before continuing over to the table. However, she grabbed her bag and ditched her lunch, going back over to help clean up the mess that Griffith currently was. She struggled with the zipper of her bag before getting it open, setting it on the table's bench and looking for her first aid. "Sit down, you're too tall." she said, flushing unhappily at having to admit that.

Griffith went to give a snarky quip about the girl being too short, but he decided for his own well being (as she was the medic currently) it was best to keep the comment to himself as he sat back down in his perch. As soon as he was seated, he felt a pair of little arms snake around his and he glanced down to see Dixon fussily snuggling up to his side, his lip jutted out.

"You gotta stop cryin', Dixie, I'm fine, you're fine, buck up, kid." Griffith 'scolded'.

Harper grabbed some things from the first aid and went to start cleaning up and patching up Griffith, glancing down at Dixie. "It's okay, kiddo, I'll patch him up." she promised, used to dealing with her little brother so it was instinct to comfort.

"'Kiddo'? He's gotta be older than you." Griffith said, eyeing the girl as she took care of him.

Harper frowned, trying hard not to get irritated that someone was assuming probably because of her size, yet again. "I'm eleven." she said, calmly and blankly as she could, cleaning up blood from his chin.

Griffith flushed a bit, embarrassed that he was actually younger than the girl fussing over him, finding it much like a mother hen fussing over a little one now.

Dixon must have sensed his embarrassment because he let out a quiet giggle and looked up to the girl.

"Griffy is only ten." He said.

"Dixon, shut up." Griffith spat in a harsh whisper, which only made Dixon giggle more.

"That's okay, my little brother is seven." Harper said, glancing down at Dixon again and gave rather small smile. She finished fixing up Griffith and stepped back, going to go across the way to throw away the bloody tissues, hiding them from everyone else in her hands. She tossed them in the garbage before going back to them. "There, you're cleaned up."

"I'm six, but I'll be seven in a few months." Dixon said, nestling himself up to Griff, as if the whole altercation had never happened and he had nothing to fuss over.

"Yeah, just like I'll be eleven in a month and a half." Griff pursed his lips, reaching up to touch at his face. Just as the girl had said, it was clean. He looked up, bashfully. "Thanks."

Harper gave another small smile, though that was usual for her since none of her smiles really reached her eyes. "It's no problem. At least you didn't have to go see the stupid school nurse this way."

"Yeah, for sure." Griffith said before grimacing at a nudge Dixon was giving him.

"Introduce yourself, dummy." Dixon scolded. His parents definitely raised him right.

Griffith made a face at his brother before looking to the girl, offering his hand out to her rather sheepishly.

"I...um...I'm Griffith by the way. Griffith Fitz." He said.

"And I'm Dixie!" Dixon chirped.

Harper blinked at his hand, hesitating for a few seconds. She wasn't used to respectfulness or politeness. Neither of her parents had taught her it and they only way she knew what it really was, was because of school or TV. She hesitated still before going to shake his hand. "Um. I'm Harper Hunt." she said to them both and gave Dixon a little smile when he so cutely introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you." Griffith said, still trying to fight back an embarrassed grimace.

Meanwhile, Dixon craned his head towards Harper's abandoned lunch and looked up to her.

"You should come sit with us. No one else likes to sit with us either." He nodded.

Harper flushed then, not sure how to respond to that. "I don't... it's not that.." she trailed off, fidgeting. "I'm not really hungry but I'll sit if you don't mind.. I guess.."

Dixon shifted to sit on his haunches and eagerly pat at the spot directly across from he and Griffith.

"This one, you can sit here!" He invited eagerly.

Meanwhile, Griffith flushed himself, not being accustomed to sitting with a girl, no matter how small or how old she was.
